Peshay Vocal Tune (Good Looking Records) 1995

Laidback jungle tune sampling River Ocean's 'Love and Happiness' with India's vocals. To be honest I prefer the original house tune but still...it is a killer vocal..

DJ Hype Presents The Ganga Kru Super Sharp Shooter EP (Parousia) 1996

DJ Zinc's Super Sharp Shooter remix. Classic jungle. Uses LL Cool J's vocal intro from 'It Gets No Rougher' to spell out the title. (In case you didn't know) This also has samples from Methid Man if I'm not mistaken.. Then it all just kicks off with that massive 'warbling' bassline and the Amen break. CLASSIC.

Alex Reece Pulp Fiction (Metalheadz) 1995

It's so simple but it's so good! Alex Reece's classic jungle tune from the mid 90's. Simple bassline and sax sample along with nice simple beats.. CLASSIC.

Pascal P-Funk Era (Front Line Records) 1995

Wicked use of Mary J Blige on this. taken from her rather tasty 'My Life' album this is the intro to 'Be With You' Top tune in its own right. Also samples KRS ONE from the great soul tune by G Simone, Music For Da 90's.

Another classic. Vocals from Manchester singer Diane Charlamagne.

Leviticus Burial (FFRR Philly Blunt) 1995

One of jungle's biggest tunes. Stonecold classic this one is. Uses 'Madamoiselle' by Foxy for the male vocal bit and also uses Jill Francis' lyrics from 'Make Love To Me' for the female bits. Marvellous tune.

Natural Born Chillers Rock The Funky Beat (EW) 1997

I liked this at the time. Samples Chuck D's vocals. This is the Urban Takeover Remix.

Omni Trio Mystic Steppers EP Feel (Feel Good) (Candidate Records) 1993

Another early jungle tune that left the hardcore path with it's cheesy speeded up pianos for something a little more refined and quality. Uses a nice vocal sample. Classic.

Omni Trio Feel (Feel Good)

Omni Trio Renegade Snares (Moving Shadow) 1993

Not sure which version I have posted here so if anyone knows feel free to tell me. I bought this as a reissue. Top class early jungle tune from 1993. Wicked vocal samples..

Remarc RIP (Suburban Base) 1995

Another stone cold classic from the Suburban Base label. Jungle infused with Jamaican ragga vocals. From when jungle/ drum and bass was good!

Q Project Champion Sound (Alliance Remixes) (Legend Records) (1993)

What a record this is! Not sure if this is the correct label as mine was a white reissue, not being a huge jungle collector. Everything is just so good on here, the stabs, the bass, the beats. Proper classic from back in the day.

The House Crew Superhero (Production House) 1994

This is what defines the jungle sound for me. CLASSICS like this from 1994. I'd be listening to jungle/drum and bass now if it still sounded like this. Golden era tune.

Lloydie Crucial Ribbon In The Sky (Lloydie Crucial Productions) 1994

LOVE all the soul samping jungle from the 1994 era. This was very simple and samples Stevie Wonder's BREATHTAKINGLY good tune Ribbon In The Sky.
